San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Diego is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Tried the Nishiki ramen here and the flavors are savory! Almost reminds me of Japan. The karaage appetizer was also a favorite in my group. Our server (didn’t catch her name but I think it was Mabel, but she was wearing glasses) was really attentive to us and very kind. Because of the good food and the service, we’ll definitely be coming back!

The waitress was very attentive and kind. The black garlic tonkatsu is amazing, it was the right amount of garlic. And the chicken karaage was crispy on the outside and moist inside, very flavorful

Crazy scrumptious broth and great noodles. They have amazing tonkustu broth and soy base and their vegetarian options are beyond this world 🌎. Highly recommend to come and check it out.

Review: Nishiki Ramen Rating: 3/5 Stars I have been a loyal fan of Nishiki Ramen since they first opened their doors years ago, so I have had the pleasure of watching them evolve over time. While there is still a lot to love, my recent experience left me with mixed feelings regarding some changes in their menu and service policies. The Ramen Breakdown * Smoke Bomb Black: This remains a solid, flavorful choice. The broth is as rich and delicious as ever, maintaining that signature taste I’ve enjoyed for years. However, I did notice that the portion size of the noodles has noticeably decreased compared to what it used to be. * Shoyu Ramen: If you are looking for something lighter that isn't overly oily, this is the perfect bowl for you. The broth is well-balanced and satisfying without being heavy. Observations on Quality One major point of difference is the noodles themselves. They have changed the variety used since their grand opening, and unfortunately, the current texture does not feel as tender or high-quality as it once was. This shift is quite noticeable for a long-time regular. Service Note It is worth noting for future diners that the restaurant now applies a 15% service ch

Turn off thank you I had a lot of Michelin star Ramen and I can honestly say this is one of the better restaurants I’ve been too! Had the ultra spicy miso! Do not recommend that to people that can’t handle THE IMMENSE HEAT. 10/10
